Chronic Illness & Pain
Living with chronic illness or chronic pain can be challenging and testing at times. You may be worn out and
struggle because of the persistent fatigue and pain. It’s difficult to explain to others and they may not understand;
you may feel alone at times in your struggle. You may also experience psychological effects of your illness.
Feeling overwhelmed and challenged daily is normal. As a therapist who understands with her own chronic illness,
as well as the tools that facilitate managing a live of living; I am there to support your journey and facilitate
healing. You do not need to be alone in this struggle. By working together in building upon your strengths and
creating a life fully lived. I hope to have an opportunity to help you in your journey so that you may get back to
living life with greater ease and comfort.
Chronic Illness Support Group
Wednesdays 11am-12pm | Hybrid
$25 each week
Living with a chronic illness can be challenging to face every day; physically, mentally, and emotionally. Within this group
you are able to connect and receive support from others who can relate to your experiences. Along with feeling
understood and supported, we will discuss therapeutic topics such as emotional regulation, coping skills, mindfulness,
shame, grief, managing anxiety & depression, acceptance, empowerment, relationships, resilience, meaning and
perspective. We are more than the illnesses that try to define us and more powerful than we can measure. Find your
strength as we heal, grow, and persevere.
